Training by Industry for Industry
Training doesn't finish with trade school. The plumbing trade is at the forefront of facing the challenges of reducing greenhouse gases and saving water and energy. High quality industry-based training will encourage plumbers to stay in our Industry by offering the flexibility of being able to train for a variety of roles, and expanding the employment opportunities of those that have taken up the training.
Introducing PICAC Glenwood
The Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) is an industry-owned training provider.
PICAC Glenwood is the latest addition to the training facilities that PICAC operates in VIC, QLD and now NSW.
As of 2020, a training levy is collected as part of all plumbing and sprinkler fitting EBA’s. This means that PPTEU members can access high-quality, current, industry-led training at little or no-cost.
Keep your skills up to date or learn new skills to improve your job prospects.
