Training doesn't finish with trade school. The plumbing trade is at the forefront of facing the challenges of reducing greenhouse gases and saving water and energy. High quality industry-based training will encourage plumbers to stay in our Industry by offering the flexibility of being able to train for a variety of roles, and expanding the employment opportunities of those that have taken up the training.
Introducing PICAC Glenwood
The Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) is an industry-owned training provider.
PICAC Glenwood is the latest addition to the training facilities that PICAC operates in VIC, QLD and now NSW.
As of 2020, a training levy is collected as part of all plumbing and sprinkler fitting EBA’s. This means that PTEU members can access high-quality, current, industry-led training at little or no-cost.
Keep your skills up to date or learn new skills to improve your job prospects.
